Tears For Fears – “The Hurting”

Escribiendo para este proyecto 61xcp3ghyfl._sl1400_me parece imposible que tantas cosas pasaran en aquel verano del 86, pero cuanto más avanzo más me doy cuenta de que es así. Vamos a por Tears For Fears y este “The Hurting”. Sabía que Tears For Fears eran de Bath cuando llegué allí, el año anterior se habían hecho muy famosos en todo el mundo con su segundo disco “Songs From The Big Chair” y sobre todo con dos de sus temas “Shout” y “Everybody Wants To Rule the World”, el caso es que en uno de los famosos desayunos con Mrs Roberts (la señora de la casa donde vivía) sonaron en la radio de la cocina ,si no recuerdo mal la canción era “Everybody Wants To Rule the World”,  y le dije -anda creo que este grupo es de aquí-, y me contestó, -¿Tears For Fears?, claro cuando empezaron con su primer grupo (Graduate) mi hijo mayor tocaba con ellos, pero su primer disco era mejor-, -¿Su primer disco?- pregunté,  -sí “The Hurting”- y me tarareó “Mad World”… Eso fue suficiente me hice con el disco y allí estaban “Pale Shelter” , “Watch Me Bleed”, “Suffer The Children”, “Change” y por supuesto “Mad World”, Mrs Roberts tenía razón el primer disco era mejor que el segundo.
